HINDUISM UNDER SIEGE AND RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE
No person, Muslim or otherwise, can criticize Islam or Mohammed, similarly on penalty of death: a law that extends to the media. Islamic countries are Islamic religious or theocratic states, though they may have the secular name of republic or other secular trappings about them. Non-Islamic religions in Islamic countries are oppressed or severely curtailed in their actions, even in the case of Hindus in Pakistan or Bangladesh, who represent the original religion of the country before the Islamic period.

Of course Muslims can claim that they treated the Jews or Blacks better than did the Christians. While this is debatable it amounts to little more than Islamic countries less intolerant than Christian countries, but still falling far short of any real acceptance of other religions. Islamic countries, with few exceptions, do not have religious freedom and they only tolerate religious minorities who are either insignificant or dwindling in numbers.

Manifestations of tolerance by both conversion-oriented religions are mainly limited to political slogans, media events, or global conferences, so as to look good in public. Christian and Islamic groups can produce good speakers who talk of peace, brotherhood, human rights, care for the Earth, or respect for all religions. But ask them to stop their conversion efforts and watch them become silent or leave the stage, as if they have been insulted.
