| Through
this new pseudo-tolerance in religion missionary aggression
continues and has not changed its real character. In fact one could
argue that missionary religions are predatory by nature. They cannot
be tolerant. The exclusivism of their beliefs and their need to
convert all humanity mitigate against it. Such predatory religious
activity has been the greatest cause of war, genocide and human
suffering in the history of mankind.
Though it is moving from the battlefield to the field of the
media, the same groups are still working hard to damage and
discredit other religious and cultural traditions. There is no real
respect for different cultures in their activity (unless of course
they gain new converts in which case they can show recently
converted good Japanese or Indian Christians, but not an American
born person who has become a good Hindu or Buddhist). |
