ON MOTHER AND MOTHERLAND

A true patriot on the other hand lives in the inner most shrine of every heart of his countryman receiving the sublime adoration at all times. Such devotion comes even from abroad, since he is the citizen of the world making every one his kith and kin by his sacrifice. His life and lead are emulated and his words and actions pass for divine things.

He is venerated and remembered for centuries to come. Canonization and commemorative ceremonies would follow like day following night.

Doesn't this then, the love of country amount to loving one's fellowmen, and vice versa? In the simplest diction, people means country and country means its people. Service to them is service to God, the All pervading Providence. So, love your motherland, and serve your people to the best of your ability, and to the highest satisfaction of the Supreme-being.

But mind you, at no time you should allow your 'SELF' protruding from your actions, or thoughts, or both; for, that would jeopardize your entire project and mar your career once for all. 'SELF' mind you, is like a cancer that grows fast and viciously to take the life of the very person that feeds it. Prevention is better than cure. See that its growth is operated upon before the appearance of its symptoms. Then your healthy growth sets examples and gathers around you honest fellowmen, who will be ever ready to adhere to whatever that escapes from your lips. Increase their numbers and fill the world with bliss.
