Section two: MOTHER LAND

Similarly, the land of your birth-your motherland is equally sacred, holy and godly.

Now listen!

Your motherland has given birth to a noble soul like your mother. In-fact, not one alone, but millions of mothers like your mother. Point one. Secondly, just as your mother, she too feeds you, nurses you, educates you, protects you, and finally moulds you as the model of the whole world and mankind.

Understand, you are what your country has made of you. Your ideas and ambitions, speeches and actions are determined by the land you live in. Why, even your physique and outlook are shaped by it. The physical features of your motherland i.e., its climate, rivers, mountains, plains and vegetation etc. exert a tremendous influence on you, and mould you according to their design. There is no escaping from it, however much one desires to get himself detached from it.

Man is a product of the land, he is born in,

Take for example, the man from a mountainous region. He is apt to grow sturdy-strong of limb and stout of heart. Why? As he faces huge rocks all the time and moves among them from dawn to dusk, it is but natural that he grows exceptionally strong daring and independent. The region demands his strength and sweat. So he is hardworking and strenuous, ever daring and never-bending to the surrounding conditions. He is as strong as rock. Is it not fair then to share the sacredness of the land of his birth? Hence he is stony and hardy. And hearty too. Unless he is rocky, he cannot deal with the rock that surrounds him ever.
