PROLOGUE

ORIGIN OF MINE AND THINE

The cause for the emergence of MINE and THINE needs clarification now. These two are the hedious off-springs of GREED that know no scruples, nor honour the accepted canons of ethics. MINE is the possessive pronoun in the Grammarian phraseology, standing for the inflated self, and THINE is the boosted ego of the opponent. They know and practice opportunism and are ready to grab the most covetable possessions found anywhere, regardless of their ownership. They invariably carry with them the Pandora box and a casket of wild fancies to emptying on the gullible for easy appropriation. Poor chaps! they do not know that they rebound on them ultimately and end in total destruction, of course, after exhibiting their decomposed state.

If once they take possession of the heart, they desecrate it by filling it with vice and life-taking virus. When heart gets contaminated, mind invariably becomes crooked and brings fourth awful catastrophe in its multifarious forms. For, THINE claiming sans qualms of conscience, everything glittering, irrespective of its utility, stretches its soiled, long, strong hands to extort it, ignited by the instinct of ungovernable avarice hoarding for future benefits. It resorts to every type of unlawful means to achieve its object caring none, nor fearing any heavenly authority. Its chief motive is to establish its sway over all and the entire creation. Bossing over is its obsession and hence resorts to CRIME and CRUELTY to accomplish its over-weaning ambition. The concomitant circumstances, is it necessary to add, succeeds in burying the scriptural injunctions and try to frying alive those that stand on the way, or raise voice of objection.
