MIRACLES
AND THEIR KlNDS
The
first part of the title - 'the Miracles of Gods' demands attention
now. Here again there are two words - Miracles and Gods, Both are
common place words and widely used by one and all; alas! either
import, or full connotation is least understood. They are as
mysterious as mystery itself. Yet, for proper comprehension of the
title, rather the contents of the book, an attempt has to be made.
The first word MIRACLE needs elaborate explanation. When looked up
the exact meaning of the word in dictionary you notice - it is an
occurrence th does not follow the know laws of nature.
So,
super-natural force is there present for its appearance. People with
little baggage mistake it for magic as displayed by conjurers, like
materialising a rabbit out of the hat. It is to be termed as magic,
and materialising a rabbit out of the hat. It is to be termed as
magic, and such men are called magicians, who by sleight of hand and
dexterous movement of wand produce strange objects to keep the
on-lookers in suspense to making out their livelihood.
They
are not miracle makers, nor are some perverted men, who invoking
evil spirits by appeasing them appeasing them with
sacrifices produce awe-some miracles - maleficent and beneficent as
well, like the act of exercising to relieve the possessed, or
causing havoc to the credulous by witch craft. And they are called
sorcerers and witches. All these are not miracle men.
