PROLOGUE

THE CLASSIC SOCIETY

That ideal classic state was formed with classic society as base, standing comparison with that type of Dharma Rajya of Kritayuga type and heralded Rama Rajya, when Dharma moved majestically on its fours. This ultra Utopia state that existed then demonstrated the spectacles ideality in motion - people highly disciplined, imbibing the spirit public welfare adhered to the tenets of justice with utmost sincerity. To begin with, there were no caste distinctions, nor class prejudices. They worked for work sake, prompted by the motto of one for all and all for one', despite plenty greeted everywhere - in food stuffs and necessities of every kind.

There were neither overseers, nor reproves in any institution that existed; for, they knew that 'work is worship'. The walls of workshops and office establishments had never hung up clocks, nor evasion of work was complained by the bosses. In consequence, lotus-eaters, or shirkers went out of existence. In any realm of human activity at it. Hard, sincere work filled the barns with food grains enough and to spare for graceful existence. Honest labour toned up the tenor of life and hence physicians or clinics did not enter the arena public health. Free and fair sharing of the labours of joy led to creation of the classic common wealth inexhaustible to the jealousy of heavens.
