If
the target of the contestants alone is hit, it is understandable,
but the innocent, guiltless, unconcerned, inoffensive people are
converted into heaps of ash, or mass of debris. What about the worth
of the property going up in smoke? Skyscrapers, clossal ware-houses,
giganntic industrial plants and extensive farm yards go beyond
recognition, the value of which can be expressed in astronomical
figures only.
Aren't
these man-faced ghosts worse than Satans or Ravanas? Comparison
glorifies the latter; for, those demonic creatures had not harmed
any of their brood. They consciously and deliberately aimed at the
heads of their enemies, but never caused disaster to their own
fellowmen. Should not then asuras be hailed as exemplary humanists,
though demonical in their shape and ambition of annihilating enemy?
Any sane man prefers whole heartedly to be in the kingdom of Satan
or Ravana than in this ever threatening and never blissful world
dominated by power intoxicated, vengeance-dominated world.
