Tirupputkuzhi - Vijaya Raghava Perumal Temple

This Thonda mandala Divya Desam dedicated to Vijaya Raghava Perumal lies very near to Kancheepuram. The Moolavar is in sitting posture, facing east. He gave darsan to the king bird Jatayu and fulfilled his desires. The Tayar is called Marrakatavalli and the Pushkarini, Jatayu thirtha. The garbha griha is adorned with Vijayakoti Vimana. Tirumangai Alwar visited and offered Mangalasasan. Nithyanaimithika worship is offered with due devotion.

It lies about 10 km off Kancheepuram railway station, accessible by four wheelers. Being a small village it does not cater to boarding and lodging facilities.
