Tirukaaragam - Karunakara Perumal  Temple

This forms an integral part of Vulagalanda Perumal temple and lies just opposite the sannidhi of Mother Amudhavalli Tayar. Although lies in the big temple, it is independent and possesses all parts and Vanlana Vimana adorns the garbha griha. And nithyanaimithika worship is also offered separately. The Moolavar is called Karunakara Perumal and is in standing posture. The Tayar is called Padmamani and the temple tank Aakraya thirtha. Vamana Gourha Maharshi had the vision of the Lord and was blessed with boons of his choice. Tirumangai Alwar offered pasuramala when visited and prayed devoutly. Nithyanaimithika puja is offered with great devotional fervor.

It is also lying in the walkable distance from Kancheepuram railway station.
