Chitta was happy at this and felt blessed to have been chosen an instrument in the
blossoming of the divine love between Andal and Ranganatha. At Srirangam, Ranganatha bade
theofficiating priest to bring Andal with all honors from Srivilliputhur.
The news was carried to Andal and the king,
Vallabbadeva Pandva. It is hard to express in words, how joyous Andal. Vishnu Chitta and
the King of the Pandyan kingdom were at this happy news. Vishnu Chitta, however,
proceeded to his tutelary deity at Srivilliputhur, Sri Vatapatrasayee, narrated to him all
the wonderful occurrences and awaited his pleasure and permission how to act.
Vatapatrasayee too bade him do as Ranganatha had directed. |
