Further,
the first enjoyment of flowers (garland) is,according to the Hindus, the' sacred reserve
of God the Creator. When Vishnu Chitta found that hisdaughter had already adorned
herself with the flowers meant for Lord Vishnu, he took her task and could not offer the
garland that day to Lord Vishnu.
Vishnu Chitta did not know that Lord Vishnu was
much pleased to wear the garlands already worn by his devotee Goda. Lord Vishnu did not
have any garland to wear that day. So he appeared in dream be Vishnu Chitta and asked him
why he did not bring his garlands as usual that day. With sorrow at heart, Vishnu Chitta
related to the Lord what his child Andal had done with the garlands. |
