SRI SAILAM - BHRAMARAMBIKA DEVI MANDIR
The
place made holy by the falling of the greeva - neck of Mother Sati is called
Srisailam. The august deity installed in a big temple built later is called
Bhramarambika Devi. This Saiva cum Sakteya kshetra attained universal acclaim for
several awe-some sports demonstrated by both the archamurtis. Lord Siva is
called Mallikarjunaswamy and Mother Bhramarambika The kshetrapalaka is called by
two names Sankar and Eswaranand.
It
lies atop Srisailam hill, accessible by bus from any nearby town like Kurnool or
Nandyal in Andhra Pradesh.

NALAHATI - KALIKA MANDIR
The spot sanctified by the falling of Vudharanalika intestines of Mother Sati is
called Nalahati. Kalika is the name of the Goddess enshrined in a temple built
later. Yogiswara is the name of the kshetrapalaka of this place.
It lies on a big mound 3 km off Nalahati railway station on the Hawada-Kyullayi
railway line accessible by bus.
