KURUKSHETRA - SAVITRI MANDIR
The
ancient Kurukshetra is sanctified by the falling of Mother Sati's dakshina gulfa
- right ankle and the goddess worshipped there is called Savitri Devi. The
sentinel's name is Sarvananda.
It
lies on the bank of Dwaipavarna tank in Kurukshetra, the venue of Bharata
sangrama, accessible by train and bus.

LANKA INDRANI DEVI MANDIR
Mother Sati's nupuram - anklet fell at a place in Lanka, the present Ceylon and
the deity worshipped is called Indrani Devi. The kshetrapalaka's name is
Raksheswar.
