Jupiter: Yellow Sapphire
Venus: Diamond
Saturn: Blue Sapphire
Rahu: Hessonite Garnet
Ketu: Cat's Eye

Gem-stones are usually prescribed when a planet is weak in the chart (by sign, house, or aspect) and particularly if it also rules auspicious houses from the ascendant (like the first, fifth or ninth).

Ruby and yellow sapphire are usually set in gold. Pearl and red coral are usually set in silver. Diamond is set in white gold (a combination of gold and silver). Emerald, blue sapphire can be set in either gold or silver depending on whether we want to strengthen their cleansing or nourishing effects.
